SHOW OFF: People Who Collect is a unique exhibition featuring artworks and objects collected by Gary and Chicago artists, cultural workers, entrepreneurs and gallerists. In 2017, the first of a series of exhibits presenting artworks on loan from private collections in public settings. Each collector will select artworks and objects for display – each, representing their own personal aesthetic, personal taste and artist(s) of interest.

In support of the third annual Gary Preservation Tour lead by Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson and the Office of Redevelopment at the City of Gary, Pacheco’s involvement included developing site-specific way finding and didactics for twenty-one sites. Also, facilitated new event branding with designer, Kelly Knaga.
In her role as Director of Arts Programming and Engagement at the School of the Arts at Indiana University Northwest, Lauren M. Pacheco is developing a satellite space in the 504 Broadway Avenue building.
